Question by Libran: Did the astronauts to the Moon carry any self-defence weapons?
Did the astronauts on board Apollos exploring the Moon carry any self-defence weapons just to be on the safe side? Especially the astronauts on Apollo 11 that carried out the first ever moon landing mission.

No, the missions were never planned with enemies in mind… unfortunately, NASA is a big disbeliever in aliens, especially on the moon…
